Don and I were best of friends in and out of High School and brothers in arms even though we served in different branches of the military services. If I'am not mistaken, we we both served combat tours in Vietnam about the same time but never knew it. So from the bottom of my heart, I wish to express my sincere condolences to his family and sympathy to his friends. His service as a Solider and the many personal sacrifices he made are truly worthy of the title "American Hero". I thank him for defending the United States of America, her freedoms and interests. His outstanding devotion to God, Country, Family and the Army will not be forgotten by those who have gone before him, those who are currently serving and those who will step up in the future and especially me.

Don, your mission is finally complete.

Pete so glad we had the chance to catch up today over the phone. Always good talking to dads old friends; you will have to tell me a good story of your high school days sometime. He was in Vietnam from Oct 68 to Oct 69. Drafted shortly after HS. I am very proud of his service. Thank you for the PGR information it would be an honor to see them at his service. Hope you get to join us for his burial in a few months. Thank you for your service and we appreciate your words thoughts and concern for my father.
