Harold R. Fisher

Harold R. Fisher, 85, of Magnolia Drive, Lewisburg, formerly of Milton, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born July 7, 1931 in Lewisburg a son of the late Raymond L. and Alberta I. (Renn) Fisher. On March 24, 1973 he married the former Helen L. Bowersox, who survives. Together they celebrated 44 years of marriage.

Harold was a 1949 graduate of Lewisburg High School. He previously worked for PPL. Harold retired in 1993 from the former Moore Business Forms, now R. R. Donnelley, Lewisburg.

He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Milton.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Thomas Arline, of Blairsville, GA and Leslie and David Greuel, of Bogart, GA; a son, Eric Fisher, of FL; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Donna Fisher, of Lewisburg; two sisters, Doris Lukens, of Mifflinburg and Betty Hummel, of Middleburg; a brother-in-law, Derwin Krouse, of Montandon; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Ida Mae Krouse and Lucille A. Spotts and two brothers-in-law, Robert Lukens and Lester Hummel.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 Mahoning St., Milton, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Peter Geschwindner, chaplain of RiverWoods, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lewisburg Cemetery.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to either Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 Mahoning St., Milton, PA 17847 or to a charity of one’s choice.

The family is being assisted by the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg.
