Judith A. Hardy

Judith A. Hardy, 65, of Lewisburg, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

Born July 6, 1950 in South Williamsport, she was a daughter of Patrick Muir Jr. and Evelyn (Williams) Muir.

Judith was a 1968 graduate of South Williamsport High School and a 1971 graduate from the Harrisburg Polyclinic for nursing school.  She later graduated from Susquehanna University in 1986 where she received her bachelor's of science degree and went on to work nearly 30 years as a Nurse Anesthetist at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Lewisburg.

Judith enjoyed volunteering at the Donald L. Heiter Community Center.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Chris Sullivan, of Hopkinton, MA; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Diana and Joe Miller and P.J. and Chris Clauser, all of Allentown; one grandson, Christopher Sullivan, of Hopkinton, MA; and four nieces, Kim, Carrie, Amanda and Samantha.

Friends will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church, 41 S. Eighth St., Lewisburg where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. with Deacon Richard Owen, officiating.

Burial will follow in Lewisburg Cemetery.
