Robert D. Lobel

Robert D. Lobel, 76, of Lewisburg, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at his home.

He was born July 10, 1941 in Harrisburg, a son of the late Conrad and Leah (Keim) Lobel. On May 26, 2012, he married the former Marcia Dombroski, who survives. They enjoyed 14 years together.

Robert was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School. 

He served honorably in the United States Navy.  After his time in the service, he worked as a computer systems analyst for the United States Navy Depot, Mechanicsburg.

Robert was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Lewisburg.

He was an avid bicyclist and enjoyed being outdoors, especially going for walks in the woods.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Stephanie Lobel, of Camp Hill and Keith and Melanie Lobel, of Columbia, SC; one daughter and son-in-law, Cinda and Mark Kauffman, of Mount Joy; one sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Robert Sakson, of Camp Hill; three grandchildren, Cameron Lobel, Hayden Miller and Wyatt Kinney; and four step sons, Eric and Jeff Miller and Bradley and Matthew Parks.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Gwen (Smith) Lobel; and one brother, Douglas Lobel.

Services will be held for close family and friends at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Faith Lutheran Church, 2349 Old Turnpike Rd. Lewisburg, PA 17837 and at 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 10, Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2000 Chestnut Street, Camp Hill PA 17011.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 2349 Old Turnpike Rd. Lewisburg, PA 17837.

The family is being assisted by the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg.
