Rodney J. Aderhold

Rodney J. Aderhold, 46, of Boalsburg, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015.  

He was born on September 18, 1968 in Williamsport, the son of James K. Aderhold, of Milton and Faith M. Koch, of Lewisburg.

Rodney was a 1986 graduate of Milton High School.  He served honorably in the United States Marines Reserves before graduating from Mansfield University with a degree in criminal justice.  He worked for eight years as a counselor at Behavioral Specialists, Inc., Lewisburg.  Rodney most recently owned and operated his own Landscaping business, Woodlands Landscaping, of State College and Lewisburg.

He was a member of the Pennsylvania Builders Association and active at Silvermoon Fitness, Lewisburg.  Rodney enjoyed being around his friends and cherished his family trips to Key West, FL.

Surviving in addition to his parents are one sister, Joyce E. Craul, of Key West, FL; one niece, Riesling Craul, of Key West, FL; paternal grandmother, Sophie M. Aderhold, of Lewisburg; maternal grandmother, Betty J. Koch, of Troy; and one aunt, Carol Koch Lash, of Canton.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Richard O. Aderhold; maternal grandfather, Werner R. Koch; and one uncle, Richard J. Aderhold.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, S. Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg, where the funeral will be held at 1 p.m. with Rev. John E. Lee, retired United Methodist pastor, officiating.

Burial with full military honors will follow in Montandon Cemetery.
