Shelia Y. Fisher

Shelia Y. Fisher, 61, of Freeburg, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born December 21, 1955 in Lewisburg, she was a daughter of the late Harold Day and Mary Joyce (Gessner) Day, of Lewisburg. On March 20, 1982, she married David Fisher, who survives. Together they celebrated 35 years of marriage.

Shelia was a 1973 graduate of Lewisburg High School. She previously worked as a clerk at the former Pennsylvania House, Lewisburg for 34 years. Most recently, Shelia worked for Selinsgrove Dental Arts for 11 years.

Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her mother and husband are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael and Christine Fisher, of Pittsburgh, Jason and Maura Fisher, of Middleburg and Ryan Fisher, of Mount Pleasant Mills; one sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Galen Reichley, of Winfield, one sister-in-law, Ann Day, of Lewisburg; four grandchildren, Dylan, Liam, Mason and Colton.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by one brother, Roger Day.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg, where the funeral will be held at 11, with Dr. Jim Cope, officiating.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the Evangelical Hospice, 1 Hospital Drive Lewisburg, PA 17837.
