Pearl B. Good

Pearl B. Good, 97, of Lewisburg, passed away March 27, 2020 at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village.

Born in Bloomsburg, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd D. and Margaret (Deily) Bomboy. On May 30, 1952, she married John W. “Jack” Good, who preceded her in death February 10, 2009. Together they celebrated nearly 57 years of marriage.

Pearl attended Bloomsburg Hospital of Nursing. She worked at Bucknell University, University of Pitt, Magee Women’s Hospital and Philipsburg State Hospital before moving to New Jersey. She worked at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey until her retirement.

Pearl and Jack retired to Lewisburg in 1992 to become one of the first cottagers at Buffalo Valley. Pearl was very active on the social committee and worked as a volunteer there until 2010.

She is survived by a brother, David Bomboy, of Lewisburg and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Isaiah and Charles Bomboy.

In keeping with Pearl’s wishes, there will be no services.

Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg.
