Raymond Paige Obituary

Raymond W. Paige, 75, of Watsontown, died on Friday, July 3, 2020 at his home.

He was born April 29, 1945 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Lee and Rachel (Pardoe) Paige.  On June 8, 1985 he married the former Debra (Dewire) Loreman, who survives. Together they celebrated 35 years of marriage.

Raymond attended Milton Schools. He served honorably in the United States Army during Vietnam.  He later retired after working more than 30 years at the former Pennsylvania House, Lewisburg.

Raymond was a member of Clyde F. Mowrer American Legion Post #323, Watsontown, and the Muffley-Huff Post #8206, V.F.W., Turbotville.

Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, Raymond W. Paige, Jr. and his wife Tiffany, of Burley, ID; one stepson, Dennis Loreman, Jr., of Ottsville; one step daughter, Wendy Maneval, of Muncy; two sisters, Jeannie Jenkins, of Rochester, MN and Bonnie Foulds and her husband William, of Milton; one grandson, Wyatt Paige; four step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Kenneth Paige.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in the Lewisburg Cemetery.

The family suggests contributions in Raymond’s memory be made to a charity of one’s choice.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St. Watsontown.
