Alvena R. Trutt

Alvena R. Trutt, 90, a longtime resident of Watsontown, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Watsontown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on September 13, 1926, in Watsontown, a daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude Kramer.  She married Harold A. Trutt on July 4, 1952, and together they celebrated 49 years of marriage until his passing on February 21, 2002.

Alvena was a graduate of the former Watsontown High School.  She worked many years at the former Ben Franklin, Watsontown.

She was a former member of First Lutheran Church, Watsontown.

She is survived by two daughters, Stevia Cloud and her husband, Milford, of Watsontown and Renee Corradetti and her husband, Robert, of Delaware; one stepson, Blaine Trutt and his wife, JoAnn, of Watsontown; one stepdaughter, JoAnne Sampsell, of Florida; three grandchildren, John Cloud, and Jeff and Dina Corradetti; and three step-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one brother, Woods Kramer; and one sister, Lorraine Fiorilla.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main Street, Watsontown.
