Anna Irene Klotz

Anna Irene Klotz, 79, of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem.

She was born January 11, 1939 in Bethlehem, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Mankos) Holetz.  On November 26, 1954, she married the Milton H. “Jay” Klotz, Jr. Together they celebrated 63 years of marriage before his death May 19, 2018.

Anna worked for Just Born, Inc, Bethlehem and in the cafeteria at Bethlehem area school districts.

In her spare time, she loved to bake, garden and play cards. Anna enjoyed watching the TV series General Hospital, which she had watched since it began in 1963.

Most importantly, Anna loved caring for and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children, Vicki Klotz, of Allentown, Rocky Klotz, of Colorado and Terry Guth and her husband, Robert, of Tamaqua; one brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Barbara Holetz, of Steel City; one sister, Mary Rice, of Bethlehem; five grandchildren, Leeha Ellis and her husband, Alex, Dale Arnold and his wife, Katie, Robert Guth IV and his fiancé, Sarah Carl, Samantha Kulick and her husband, Jake and Rocky Klotz, Jr.; five great-grandchildren, Solomon Slate, Leon, Jahnir and Nahjah Ellis and Scarlet Arnold.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one son, Milton H. Klotz III, two daughters, Anna Marie and Cindy Klotz; one brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Martha Holetz and one brother-in-law, Richard Rice.

Burial will be held privately in the Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg.
