David Phillips Obituary
David P. Phillips, 70, formerly of Hughesville, most recently of Allenwood, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Watsontown Health and Rehab Center.
He was born on November 7, 1947 in Lycoming County, to the late Benjamin C. and Dorothy E. (Boatman) Phillips. On August 15, 1987 he married the former JoAnn Keefer who preceded him in death on January 26, 2009.
After graduating high school, David served honorably in the United States Army National Guard. He later worked at various manufacturers throughout the area.
David was always tinkering with a new hobby. He also enjoyed riding Dune Buggies.
Surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside military service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church Cemetery, Montgomery.
The family is being assisted by the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main Street, Watsontown.
