David "Burt" Burton Davis

David Burton “Burt” Davis, 83, of Selinsgrove, formerly of Medina, OH, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at his home.

He was born December 8, 1934 in Fairplay, MD, a son of the late Harry and Mary (Miller) Davis.  On December 22, 1952 he married the former Lois Lillian Kendall and together they celebrated 55 years of marriage before her death on July 1, 2008.

Burt graduated high school in Hagerstown, MD.  He retired in 2000 from the Pangburn Corporation, Hagerstown, where he worked as a Sales Service Engineer.

He was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd, Montoursville.

Burt was a devoted father and grandfather.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are two sons, Kyle Davis and his wife, Wendy, of Selinsgrove, and J. Tadd Davis and his wife, Nyoka, of Lodi, OH; one daughter, Tina Baker, of Martinsburg, WV; one brother, James “Mac” Davis and his wife, Mary Jane, of WV; eight grandchildren, Keri (Luke) Honigman, Rachael (Justin) Stephano, Jessica, Alayna, Clayton, Quinton and Grahm Davis, and David Hussman; and one great-granddaughter, Isabelle Honigman.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.

Friends will be received from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg, where a Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m.
