Ivania Y. Navarro

Ivania Y. Navarro, 30, daughter, sister, and loving aunt, of 212 Fairview Dr., Lewisburg, was called to be with the Lord in heaven Sunday, October 22, 2017, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia.

Born on February 20, 1987, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Ivania loved being an aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Adored by anyone she encountered and known for her loving nature, sharp wit and sense of humor.

Ivania, a 2005 graduate of Lewisburg High School, was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lewisburg. Ivania's passion for volunteering demonstrated her caring nature where she touched many lives. She was active with the Girl Scouts from Kindergarten to 12th grade. She also volunteered at RiverWoods, Best Western, and Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, all of Lewisburg and Food Swing, Northumberland.

Ivania enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cooking. When she wasn’t sassing or bantering back and forth with her brother Omar, she was always ready for a road trip with her travel buddies, mom and dad. Her cross-country trips included visiting her nieces and nephews in Texas and other family member everywhere in between.

Surviving in addition to her parents are four brothers and a sister, three sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law; Ivan Jr. and Autumn Navarro, of FL, Omar Navarro, of Lewisburg, Emir and Linda Navarro, of Milton and Adam and Breane Navarro, of TX, Alma and Cleveland Montgomery, of TX; nine nieces and nephews, Isaiah, Amari, and Meia Navarro, Cleveland Montgomery, Anaiah Navarro, Ava and Aria Montgomery and Aiden and Zara Navarro; maternal grandmother, Carmen Jusino, of FL; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, maternal grandparents, one uncle, one aunt and a nephew, Emir, Jr.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, 41 S. Eighth St., Lewisburg, with Father Mark Wilke, officiating.

Burial will follow in Montandon Cemetery.

In honor of Ivania, it is encouraged that anyone attending wears pink.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA, 350 Hale Ave., Harrisburg, PA 17104.
