Mary Eberhart Wolfe

Mary Eberhart Wolfe, 90, of Lewisburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.

She was born December 19, 1928, the daughter of the late Burke and Marian (Bowersox) Hartman. On December 26, 1948, she married Theron Eberhart, who preceded her in death on October 28, 1994. Together they celebrated 45 years of marriage.

Mary was a 1947 graduate of Beaver Vocational high school. She worked in food service and loved meeting new people and made many friends.

She was a member of Winfield Baptist Church for many years.

One of Mary’s great joys was gardening and she took great pride in her beautiful back yard.

On April 4, 2004, she married Rodger Wolfe, who survives. They enjoyed going to Florida and Myrtle Beach, SC together.

Mary is survived by two sons, Terry Eberhart and his wife, Linda, of Lewisburg and Lynn Eberhart and his wife, Mary, of Milton; two step sons, Garry Wolfe, of Albuquerque, NM and Larry Wolfe, of Lewistown; three grandchildren, Jennifer Eberhart, Kristin Sprenkle and her husband, Randy and Aaron Wolfe and five great-grandchildren, Zachary, Alexis, Sarah, Lizzie and Charlie.

In addition to her parents and first husband, she was predeceased by a step daughter, Susan Brickle.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, S. Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Alan Doebler, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lewisburg Cemetery.
