Dear Connie, Deanna, Ken and Extended Families,

I was truly saddened to learn this week that Marjorie had passed away this past August. My deepest sympathy to each of you.

I cannot tell you how much "Mother B's" love and friendship meant to me over the years. From the many band trips with my years at Lycoming College to being lucky enough to stay within the parsonage at Osceola Mills for a short time as I struggled to find my way at in the Penn State's MEd Music Education program. Her friendship and steady caring and concern and love were always a blessing to me.

My only regret is that I had not been able to get to see her these last few years.
I will miss her greatly.

Deepest sympathy and love to you all.

We were so blessed, during our college years when at Lycoming and they were at Duboistown, to have both of them as surrogate parents. And then in all the years since, we always knew we could find comfort, love, and a cup of good coffee on our travels back east. I will always love and honor you "Mother B" and be grateful for you in my life all these years.

Aunt Marjorie was the most kind hearted person that I have ever known. It was always a pleasure to see her especially at the Burket Reunion at Raystown. She accomplished many great things in her life which will always be honored and remembered. She will be greatly missed.

We are so very sorry to hear of Margie's passing. We will never forget the time she spent with Charlie at Emory United Methodist in New Oxford and all the wonderful visits we had after they left for Lewisburg. She will be remembered as a mentor, friend and an example to all of a life of love and service. Once again, our condolences to your entire family. If possible, please let us know when her memorial service will take place. . . . . ❤️

Dear Connie, Don and I were just recalling your Mother last week and wondered if she was still living. We remember her kindnesses to us during our Lycoming years and later. She was always upbeat and interested in others. We're grateful for her devoted life and sorry for your loss. What a full life she lived dedicated to God.

Thank you so much for the condolences, Don and Deanna. Mom always remembered her "kids" at Lycoming fondly. It was great fun my senior year to have Mom and Dad at Duboistown and get home cooking! We were really blessed to have her for so long.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family. Your Dad married us 62 years ago in Mackeyville. We have many happy memories from LONG AGO when we were all KIDS. Do you remember? Your Mother lived a good long life and will always be remembered by many. We now attend the First U M Church in Hanover where she served.
Love and Blessings to all.
