Robert Michael Bastian Jr.

Robert Michael Bastian Jr., 48, of 1079 Number Ten Rd., New Columbia passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at his home with his family by his side.

Born January 21, 1970 in Lewisburg, he was the son of Robert M. Sr. and Kay (Strassner) Bastian, of New Columbia.

Robert was a 1988 graduate of Milton High School and received a degree in Graphic design from Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport. He worked as a graphic designer at Centre Publications in Centre Hall for many years.

Robert enjoyed sharing his many talents; as a musician with the heavy metal band, “Armed and Ready”, as an instructor of Tae Kwan Do and through art and painting.

Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister and brother-in-law, Melissa Anne and Sean Conlin, of New Columbia;  a nephew, Timothy Conlin; and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, George and Dortha Bastian and his maternal grandparents, Llewellyn and Marian Strassner.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes, there will be no services.
