Steven Noll

Steven Noll, 71, of Lewisburg passed away at 8 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2019 at River Woods in the company of his daughter and his wife.

Born November 14, 1947 in Hampton, VA, Steve grew up in a military family living around the States and in Germany before returning to Central Pennsylvania.

A Lewisburg Green Dragon, Class of 1966, he answered the call to service in the armed forces in January 1969 serving as an Army medic stationed at the United States Army Garrison Hohenfels in Germany until December 1970. Following his time in the Army, he returned to Pennsylvania and married his high school sweetheart in January 1971. Steve’s service to his country ignited a passion for his future prompting him to begin his educational journey at Ferris State University School of Pharmacy in Big Rapids, Michigan – one of the oldest pharmacy schools in the nation. Steve went on to become a Registered Pharmacist – a profession he relished for more than 40 years. Steve loved so many things – the family he adored, Yankees baseball and Penn State football, the rescue cats that brought him joy throughout his life, and especially spending time on the water boating and fishing.

Surviving are one daughter, Jessica Noll McClain and son-in-law Matt McClain, of Richmond, VA; two granddaughters, Pearl Caroline McClain and Vivien Dorothy McClain, both of Richmond, VA; his loving wife of 48 years, Christine Fenton Noll, of Lewisburg; and one brother, Larry Noll, of Selinsgrove.

There are plans for a celebration of Steve’s life to be held at a later date.
