Thomas R. "Tom" Wagner

Thomas R. “Tom” Wagner, 74, of New Columbia, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 14, 2018, with his wife and family by his side after a courageous and difficult battle with cancer.

He was born September 10, 1944, in Williamsport, a son of the late Richard and Ruth (Fisher) Wagner.  On April 25, 1981 he married the former Nancy Buss, who survives.  Together they celebrated 37 years of marriage.

Tom was a graduate of Milton High School.  He served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force during Vietnam.  He later retired after 43 years as a Supervisor at West Pharmaceuticals, Montgomery.

Tom was a member of the American Legion Post 71, Milton.  He loved bowling, fishing and going to casinos.  Most important to him was spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Stacie, Cliff and Amy; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Cynthia Wagner, of Milton and James and Linda Wagner, of Utah; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one daughter-in-law, Kim.

Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main Street, Watsontown, where a Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. with Rev. John E. Lee, retired United Methodist minister, officiating.

Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Highland Cemetery, New Columbia.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions in Tom’s name be made to Lewisburg Home Health and Hospice, 235 Hospital Drive, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
