Yvonne Marie O'neill

Yvonne Marie O’Neill, 78, of Lewisburg, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born July 21, 1939 in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Millard and Evelyn (Hummel) Fetzer.  On July 7, 1996, she married Kenneth O’Neill, who survives.  Together they celebrated 21 years of marriage.

Yvonne was a 1957 graduate of Lewisburg High School.  She worked as a custodian at Bucknell University for 20 years.

Yvonne was a member of Community Christian Church, Vicksburg.

She enjoyed spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband  are one son, Wayne Slear and friend, Danny Valencia, of Duluth, GA; one daughter, Robin Hoffman, of Lewisburg; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Galen and Nancy Fetzer and Keith and Melissa Fetzer, all of Lewisburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Rex Frey, of Shippensburg; and four grandchildren, Madison, Matthew, Trent and Alexandra.

Family and Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at Community Christian Church, 6460 Old Turnpike Rd, Vicksburg where a time of remembrance and fellowship meal will be held.

A private graveside service will be held in Lewisburg Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions in Yvonne’s  name be made to the Community Christian Church, 6460 Old Turnpike Rd, Vicksburg, PA 17844.
