Betty J. Fullmer, 86, of Muncy, formerly of Williamsport, embraced our Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 31, 1931 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Harry H. and Mamie B. (Clark) Hunter. Betty is survived by her husband, Donald G. Fullmer. They would have celebrated 70 years of marriage on September 8, 2018.
Betty was a member of New Life Church, Muncy. She enjoyed Bible study, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.
Betty attended Williamsport schools. She previously worked at GTE Sylvania in Montoursville.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Susan M. (Stephen) Hunter, of Montoursville and Linda D. (Will) Murray, of Turbotville; a son, Timothy M. Fullmer, of Muncy; four grandchildren, Crystal (Tim) Millard, Stephen Hunter Jr. (Alison), Adam (Margaux) Murray and Aaron (Miranda) Murray; and nine great-grandchildren, Ethan and Abbey Millard, Seth and Logan Hunter, Cali, Rigby, Indigo, Pierce and Griffin Murray.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Glenn, Norman, Donald and Carl Hunter and a sister, Kathryn Bower.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, with her pastor, the Rev. Robert A. Lauver, officiating and the Rev. Timothy R. Kinney Sr., pastor of Hillview Baptist Church, assisting.
Burial will follow in the Wildwood Cemetery.
