Bob Weller Obituary

Bob F. Weller, 76, of Winfield, died on Monday, November 9, 2020 at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

He was born August 18, 1944 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Harold M. and Verna L. (Frederick) Weller.  On July 29, 1967 he married the former Shirley Schreffler and together they celebrated 53 years of marriage.

Bob attended Lewisburg High School.  He worked at the former Faylor-Middle Creek Quarry, later Eastern Industries, where he retired.  As a dedicated worker, Bob could be relied upon to work any job necessary, but mostly enjoyed driving truck.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Winfield.

Bob was also a member of the Lewisburg Masonic Lodge #144 and Williamsport Consistory, the Buffalo Run Rod and Gun Club for over 50 years, the Selinsgrove Moose, and the Union Township Fire Company.

He enjoyed working around his house, mowing grass and riding in his golf cart.  Most importantly, he cherished spending time with his family, especially playing card games and attending his grandchildren’s events.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Ted Koppen, of Northumberland, and Annette and Tim Kinney, of Nazareth; and four grandchildren, Katlyn and Lauren Koppen, and Timmy and Sean Kinney.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Arlette Joseph.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 21 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Winfield, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Zachary Woods, officiating.  A Masonic service will be held at 9:45 a.m. prior to the visitation.

Burial will follow in Winfield Cemetery.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial donations be made to the Union Township Fire Company through www.myremembrance.com, which will provide the family with a personalized keepsake that lists every donor’s name who so graciously donated in Bob’s memory.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 106 S. Second St. Lewisburg.
