C. Patrick Miller

C. Patrick Miller, 96, of Lewisburg, died on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.

He was born July 12, 1927 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Charles Arthur and Lila Marie (Bigger) Miller. On December 31, 1951 he married the former Marguerite Learning, who preceded him in death April 3, 2014.  Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage.

Pat graduated from high school in Niagara Falls, NY and later attended the University of Buffalo.

He worked for the former Sprout Waldron, now Andritz, Muncy. Pat later retired from Bendix Aerospace in 1990.

Pat was a member of the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Lewisburg and a member of the Lewisburg Rotary Club.

He loved to fence and even taught fencing at the Donald Heiter Center, where he founded the fencing program.

Pat was very proud of the fact that he designed and built his house in Lewisburg.

Surviving are one son, Charles Miller and his wife, Pam, of Selinsgrove; two daughters, Wendy Claus and her husband, Don, of TN and Kathy Miller, of AZ; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services are being planned and will be announced at a later date.
