Dennis Allen Reichard, 65, of Mifflintown, passed away January 13, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

He was born in Sunbury on November 24, 1956, the son of the late Kenneth E. and Lucy F. Reichard.  On April 24, 1976, he married his wife, the former Pamela K. Bingaman, who survives.  They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on April 24, 2021.

Dennis grew up in Montandon and in 1974 graduated from Milton High School, where he loved playing sports, including football, baseball, and basketball.

He spent 46 years working in bridge and highway construction in Pennsylvania, expressing passion for bridge projects.  Many roads and bridges in the state were improved as a result of his contributions throughout his career.

He was an avid bowler and spent many seasons playing in leagues and local tournaments, often participating with the several family members who shared this passion.  He also enjoyed downhill skiing and golf for recreation, and hosted numerous swimming pool parties and barbecues with family.  He also enjoyed playing pinball, pool (billiards) games, video games, deer hunting, and fishing.

Dennis is survived by his wife Pamela; son Andrew Reichard, daughter-in-law Marie Reichard, and granddaughters Stephani and Bethany Reichard, of Liverpool; son Timothy Reichard, of Odenton, Maryland; daughter Holly Reichard, son-in-law Adam Hall, and grandson Bradley Hall, of San Diego, California; daughter Melissa (Reichard) Frye and son-in-law Earl Frye, of State College; brother Jeffrey Reichard, of Lewisburg; aunt Helen Tobias, of Sunbury; and cousin Carole Leininger, of Shamokin Dam.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was predeceased by two sisters in infancy and brother, Stephen Reichard.

Funeral services are being held privately at the convenience of the family.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Saint Thomas Independent Brethren in Christ Church, 1070 St. Thomas Road, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853.
