Donna K. Boyer

Donna K. Boyer, 78, of New Columbia died Sunday, July 12, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born September 3, 1941 in Danville, a daughter of the late Harry and Mable (Swank) Remick. On Sep. 24, 1959 she married Russell L. Boyer Sr., who preceded her in death Dec. 1, 2014. Together they celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Donna was a graduate of Danville High School. She worked as a custodian at Bucknell University for 15 years. Donna loved caring for and raising her family.

She was of Methodist faith. Donna was an auxiliary member of the William Cameron Fire Company, Lewisburg.

Donna enjoyed gardening, traveling, NASCAR and her dog.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Russell, Jr. and Lindsey Boyer, of New Columbia and Mark Boyer, of Lewisburg; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lea Ann and James Marie, of New Columbia, Kathy and Brian Bahner, of Lewisburg and Gail and Marty Wise, of Lewisburg; five siblings; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
