Obituary
Gary D. Mosteller, Sr., 65, of Watsontown, died Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at his home.
He was born April 4, 1958 in Williamsport, a son of Viola (Hipple) Mosteller and the late David Mosteller. On March 17, 2009 he married the former Cindy Albertson, who survives. Together they celebrated 14 years of marriage.
Gary was a 1976 graduate of Montoursville High School. Earlier in life, he worked as a mechanic at Kaiser Brothers, Muncy for a number of years. Most recently, he worked for Bethlehem Wire Rope, Williamsport.
Gary loved working on lawnmowers and cars. He also enjoyed woodworking and target practice.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are three children, Gary Mosteller Jr., April (Daniel Douglas Jr.) Mosteller and Angela (Steven) Miller; four step children, Sam (Heather) Mordan Jr., Judson (Brandi) Mordan, Joshua (Kelly) Mordan and Jeremiah (Stephanie) Mordan; three sisters, Linda (Randy) Kauffman, Cheryl (Tim) Martin and Annette Miller; six grandchildren, ten step grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Joseph Miller; a daughter-in-law, Shannon Mosteller and a niece, Katie Miller.
Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Uniontown Cemetery, Allenwood.
The family is being assisted by Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main St. Watsontown.
