Joanne Marie DiFranks, 41, of Lewisburg, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 15, 2021 surrounded by her family at the Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia.
She was born May 16, 1980 in Lower Merion, PA, a daughter of Joseph DiFranks, of Annapolis, MD and Mary Ella Montague, of Lewisburg.
Joanne was a 1998 graduate of Lewisburg High School and attended Penn State University.
She loved to cook, enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and traveling. Joanne cherished her family friends and pets.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her twin sister, Alison Elizabeth DiFranks and sister, Mary K. DiFranks, both of Lewisburg; two nieces, Annabelle and Juliette Oren; paternal grandmother, Margaret DiFranks, of Glenn Mills.
Joanne was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, James E. and Ruby Montague and paternal grandfather, Nicholas DiFranks.
A gathering of close family and friends to celebrate her life will take place at a later date.
The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg.
