Kent "Pops" Robert Myers

Kent “Pops” Robert Myers, 66, of Muncy, died unexpectedly Thursday, October 7, 2021 at his home.

Born November 13, 1954 in Bloomsburg, he was a son of the late Judge Jay W. and Joanne (McCreary) Myers. On June 1, 1985 he married the former Deborah Clees, who survives. Together they celebrated 36 years of marriage.

Kent was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School. He previously worked at RCA and as a manager at the former Thom McCann Store in the Lycoming Mall. Kent owned and operated a cleaning company for many years.

He was raised in the catholic faith.

Kent enjoyed landscaping his yard. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Brandon Robert Myers, of Muncy; a daughter and son-in-law, Brianne N. and Timothy Culp, of Lock Haven; a sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly and Chris Shetler, of Bloomsburg; a brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Corie Myers, of Elysburg; and one granddaughter, Jadynn Lynn VanWhy.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

If friends so desire memorial contributions in Kent’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
