Kermit P. Felmey, Jr., 67, of Winfield, died Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born in Lewisburg on March 16, 1955, a son of the late Kermit P. Felmey, Sr. and Jean Marie (Lewis) Mincemoyer, who survives. He married his wife, the former Vicki L. Holtzapple, who preceded him in death on October 18, 2020.
Kermit served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He was a life member of the NRA and loved hunting and farming.
Kermit was known for enjoying his coffee and smoking cigars.
He is survived by two sons, Justin D. and Trevor W. Felmey, both of Winfield; a brother, Steven Felmey, of Milton; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Cathy and Steve Gardner, of Winfield and Sheila McMillan, of Lewisburg; six grandchildren, Jaiden, Jaxson, Aubree, Ava, Avery and Oaklynn and a step father, Wayne Mincemoyer, of Limestoneville.
In addition to his father and wife, Kermit was predeceased by one brother, Michael Felmey.
Services are being held privately at the convenience of the family.
