While raising her children, she was employed at the Bucknell Computer Center.

She and Harold traveled extensively and enjoyed sharing the fondness of foreign travel with both children and grandchildren.

In retirement, Marjorie explored her talents in painting and learned French.

She was an avid bridge player and found much fulfillment by being a volunteer reader to school kids while wintering in Florida as well as a Meals on Wheels deliverer in the Mifflinburg area.

Surviving are her children, Katharine Keller and her husband, Julius, of Gilbert, AZ and Eric Heine and his wife, Kristina, of Carrollton, GA; one brother, Thomas Boote and his wife, Janice, of Forty Fort; one sister, Jean Krouse and her husband, John, of Latrobe; 10 grandchildren, Christine, Rebecca, Christopher, Katie, Tim, Niki, Amelia, Deanna, Valerie and Julianne; eight great-grandchildren; four nieces and two nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one daughter, Elizabeth Varney and a great-grandson, Johnny Alvarado.

A memorial service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in the Lewisburg Cemetery.
