Paul R. Schaeffer

Paul R. Schaeffer, Jr., or "Schaef" 62, of Muncy, gained his wings on Friday, December 24, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born November 5, 1959 in Muncy, he was a son of the late Paul, Sr. and Helen (Klees) Schaeffer. On April 3, 1991, he married the former Judy Morehart, who survives. Together they celebrated 30 years of marriage.

Paul attended Muncy High School. He spent many years working for the former ACF in Milton as a welder and xray.

He loved making Christmas wreathes and collecting coffee mugs his children would bring him.

Paul enjoyed fishing, cutting firewood and growing many different types of trees and flowers. Most importantly, he cherished his time spent with his loving grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Kaitlyn Figueroa and her husband, Jimmy, of Selinsgrove and Paul Schaeffer III and his wife, Katlyn, of Salladasburg; two brothers, Herman Beckman, of Sunbury and Maynard Beckman, of FL; three sisters, Beverly Stever, of FL, Joyce Miller, of Muncy and Bette Hartman and her husband, Jim, of Muncy Valley; four grandchildren, Leah LeVan, Mason Figueroa, Nova and Lexi Schaeffer; one grandchild on the way and his beloved cat, Yamaha.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, John Schaeffer and a sister, Grace Fitzpatrick.

Friends will be received from 10 to noon Thursday, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at Noon with Pastor Michael Reece, officiating.

Burial follow in the Muncy Cemetery.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to Grenoble Funeral Home, 121 S. Main St. Muncy, PA 17756 to help defray cost.
