Pauline E. Kilgus, 96, of Muncy, died Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the UPMC, Muncy Emergency Room.
She was born September 5, 1925 in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in two foster homes. In the 1940’s Pauline moved to Muncy. She married Charles G. Kilgus on June 11, 1955 and together they celebrated 48 years of marriage before his death on March 30, 2003.
Pauline was of the Christian faith and formerly attended the First United Methodist Church, Muncy, when it was at the original location on Market Street.
She worked as a seamstress at several local textile mills and enjoyed knitting and sewing. Pauline most recently loved word search books.
Surviving are one daughter-in-law, Kristina Covert, of Muncy; five grandchildren, Bill Covert, Jr., Cindy Appleman, Susie Eyer, Sherry Breen and Sarah Zalonis; 18 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her first husband, James M. Covert and one son, William Covert, Sr.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, January 10, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with her grandson, Bill Covert, Jr., officiating.
Burial will follow in the Muncy Cemetery.
