Regina Amons Wilson

Regina Amons Wilson, 56, of Lewisburg, died Friday, August 18, 2023 at her brother’s home in New Jersey.

Born July 18, 1967 in Newark, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Shellie and Hattie Mae Amons. On March 28, 2013 she married Lawrence Wilson, who survives. Together they celebrated 10 years of marriage.

Regina’s faith was very important to her and was a devoted member of the Lewisburg Alliance Church.

She was an outgoing person, who loved to sing and dance and was even know to rap on occasion.

Regina loved cooking and family gatherings. She especially loved being with her husband and her grandchildren at all times.

Surviving in addition to her husband are four sons, Quimaine (Sheela Debrody) Amons, Hakeem (Savannah Davis) Amons, Omar Amons and David (Sherry) Amons; three daughters, Shaqueetah Kidd, Sharell Travers and Tia Simms; one brother, Larry Amons; three sisters, Jeanette Amons, Renee Amons and Michelle Wilson; 11 grandchildren, Janylah Kidd, Essence Amons, Trinity Amons, Naomi Amons, Al-Jaquan Amons, Zyhriah Amons, Ciani Amons, Tierrah Amons, Andre Amons, Khloe Amons and Nasir Amons and host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Andre Amons; two brothers, John Amons and Kenny Amons and two sisters, Cynthia Amons and Maryann Amons.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, August 31, at the Lewisburg Alliance Church, 137 Supplee Mill Rd, Lewisburg, where the funeral will be held at noon.

Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
