Robert W. "Bob" Berger

Robert W. “Bob” Berger, 86, of Lewisburg, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 1, 2021.

He was born February 11, 1934 in Lewisburg, the son of the late Paul and Hazel (Pennycoff) Berger.  On July 11, 1954 he married the love of his life, the former Kaye Yost, who survives.  Together they celebrated 66 wonderful years of marriage.

Bob was a 1951 graduate of Lewisburg High School, where he was a star athlete and still remembered as a great pitcher.

He retired from Brodart where he worked as a Traffic Manager.  Bob was loved and respected by all his employees.

He loved spending time with his family, especially attending Penn State Football games together.  That is one of many family traditions that will be treasured forever.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Hope Berger; and two granddaughters, Hilary Berger and Gabrielle Rowe and her husband, Bradley.

There will be no public service to celebrate the life of Bob.  Instead, reflect on memories you have of the gentle and kind man he was.
