Terry Smith Obituary

Terry L. Smith, 72, of Muncy, died unexpectedly, Friday, September 23, 2022 at his home.

Born July 15, 1950 in Wellsboro, he was a son of the late Arthur and Reva (Locey) Smith.  On October 10, 1970 he married the former Delores Wood, who survives. Together they celebrated nearly 52 years of marriage.

Terry was a 1968 graduate of Wellsboro High School, and earned his associates degree from the former Williamsport Area Community College (WACC), now Penn College.  He worked most his life as a Diesel Mechanic, retiring from Milton Logistics.

Terry was formerly a member of the Boy scouts and an active member of the Teamsters Union.  He enjoyed playing the electric guitar and singing part time in his band, Cody.  Terry was also exceptional at carpentry and loved to read; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Surviving in addition to his wife are one brother, Loris Smith and his wife, Margaret, of NY; and three sisters, a twin of Loris, Linda Hastings and her husband, Dick, Nancy Reese and her husband, Tom, and Candi Stager and her husband, Bill, all of Wellsboro.

In keeping with Terry’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
