Tom Stewart

Tom Stewart, 69, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at home with his family by his side after a valiant fight with cancer. 

Tom was born to Jack and Elmira Jeanne (Spratley) Stewart in September 1952. Tom was a 1970 graduate of Jenkintown High School. In August of 1984 he married Betsy (Sands) Stewart and together they enjoyed nearly 38 years together and raised their son, Joshua.

Tom, a devoted family man, was also an avid outdoorsman who loved to go hunting and fishing with his brothers. Tom also loved to cook; he could be found in the kitchen every holiday cooking a lavish meal for the whole family or outside at the grill with a cold beer in hand.

He is survived by his wife, Betsy, their son, Josh and his fiancé, Kait; seven brothers and sisters, Jack (Jane) Stewart, Marcy (Fred) Doheny, Chuck (Sue) Stewart, Molly (Bill) McMaster, Andy (Connie) Stewart, Mandy (Susan) Stewart and Betsy (Keith) Petrasic and  many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Jeanne Stewart and his younger brother, Scott Stewart.

Private services will be at the convenience of the family.
