Alice, Helen and Bob; I am truly sorry for your loss. Aunt Marion was very special. I have great memories of her at Kelly elementary and of riding home from the steam engine show in Mechanicsburg with her and Uncle Harold and spending the night at the farm. God bless you all. Jeff

Hey, Jeff, thought I might hear from you. Your a great kid for all your visits and to your mom also. Gram was so happy that you did that and she had your family photo by her bed. She loved ya' Jeff. She went so quickly - on Tues. Greg was here and we all visited and she knew him and two of his kids by Saturday morning she had passed. I was so happy for her to be so clear right up until the end and I'm also happy for her now because she was soooooo ready.

Helen Thanks for the note and the attention to Gram

James Hafer, thanks for the posting - she had so very many students even before us kids were born. I'm sorry you were so much younger than me and I really don't remember you but thanks for the thought.

Helen

This is also in memory of my older brother, Hugh, who passed away 2 years ago. I am sure he would want me to post this. Hugh was the only of our siblings who had Mrs. Danowsky (as she was called) as a teacher at the Buffalo Crossroads school. HE ABSOLUTLEY LOVED HER. Hugh was a little guy in first grade and he would always tell of the time when she picked him up under his arms and raised him into the air because she was so glad to see him. Mrs. Danowsky NEVER forgot a student even many years later and Hugh would always glow when she would talk to him. She was an inspiration and we send sympathy to the entire extended Danowsky family.

Of course, Jim, we all knew Hugie Swartz and he was a tiny little fellow as we all remember. This is Helen Stump and I remember Hugie quite well and thank you
for the posting for our mom. It means quite a lot. As of last Tuesday, our mom would still have known Hugie if she had seen him. She was that clear until the last 3 days.
Thanks again,
