Sharon N. Mutschler

February 11, 1944 ~ September 25, 2015 (age 71) 71 Years Old

Sharon N. Mutschler, 71, of Watsontown, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 25, 2015, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born in the Germantown section of Philadelphia on February 11, 1944, a daughter of the late Carl and Miriam (McNutt) Rundatz.  Her best friend and husband, Carl E. Mutschler, preceded her in death on January 6, 2004.  Together they celebrated 22 years of marriage.

Sharon was a 1962 graduate of Central Bucks High School.  Early in life she was employed as a secretary by Bethel Baptist Church and Upper Bucks Christian School, both of Sellersville.  She later retired after 28 years a secretary from Beck Electric Construction, Sunbury.

She was a long time active member of the Watsontown Baptist Church, serving on the Deaconate Board, acting as church sexton and working in the church daycare.

Sharon was also a member of the Women's Auxiliary of Evangelical Community Hospital for many years, and crocheted over 100 blankets for the hospital nursery.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, William and Tammy Randall, of Bradley, SC, Aaron "Ron" and Cathy Randall, of Manassas, VA, and Ryan and Tammy Randall, of Watsontown; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Kitty Rundatz, of Dallas, GA, and James and Cindy Rundatz, of Riegelsville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Michele "Shelly" and David Handy, of Hatfield, and Carla and Dan Koechler, of MN; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her stepchildren and their spouses, James and Michele Mutschler, of Hopkinton, MA, Patti and James Blanton, of Springfield, MO, Debra and Warren Cook, of Watsontown, and Margarite Yeo; eight step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one grandson, William, who was early born.

The family is planning a celebration of life service to be held Saturday, October 3 at 4 p.m. at the  Watsontown Baptist Church, 501 Main St., Watsontown, with her pastor, Rev. James Ritter, officiating

A private interment will be held in Watsontown Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

The family suggests memorial contributions in Sharon's name be made to the Watsontown Baptist Church, 501 Main St., Watsontown, PA 17777.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown.
